Let’s start at the very beginning, a very good place to start! ABC’s….
Do you love that song too? Anyway, get ready for your toddler to learn the alphabet! Curious little minds…nothing better right? Toddlers are full of wonderment and simplicity! Embrace that with a free tool. One of my favorite things to do is create freebies for other mamas. We got to help each other out! Right?
Rainbow Road ABC’s are designed to be a hands on learning experience for children as little as two all the way to school aged children. I’ve been having a blast with my two year old son with this tool. We also incorporate his matchbox cars or Thomas trains into the activity from time to time.
- Print out my free printable here: Rainbow Road_ABC’s-3
- **Optional but recommended step: Laminate the sheets to preserve the letters for several uses. Don’t have a laminator? My personal recommendation here: Scotch Thermal Laminator 2 Roller System (TL901C) and thermal sheets recommendation here: Scotch Thermal Laminating Pouches, 8.9 x 11.4 -Inches, 3 mil thick, 100-Pack (TP3854-100) 🙂
- Cut out letters & vehicles.
- “Connect” letters to make a fun road or review letters separately. Use the cutout vehicles to trace & “drive” on letters. Use for play or as a teaching tool. Enjoy!
